This handmade herb-stripping bowl was inspired by my mother’s love of cooking with fresh herbs from her own garden. Rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano—these aromatic herbs always fill the home with a warm, inviting atmosphere. However, stripping the leaves from the stems can be time-consuming and messy, so I created this simple, practical tool for her. You simply pull the herb stems through the holes of varying sizes, and the leaves fall neatly into the bowl below. There is no need to pick leaves off one by one by hand, nor do you have to worry about scraps scattering all over the countertop. I hand-shape, trim, glaze, and finish every single ceramic bowl in my small studio. It is designed for frequent, everyday use—whether you are hosting a family meal, prepping fresh garden herbs, or cooking roast chicken, pasta, soups, or everyday home-style dishes. 🌿✨

Each order includes a handcrafted vanilla-hued bowl. As every piece is shaped and glazed by hand, slight variations in color, speckling, and surface texture are natural characteristics. Some bowls may exhibit subtle blue-green undertones, while others might feature a more heavily speckled glaze; it is precisely this uniqueness that gives each piece its distinctive character.
